• Nausea Fuel:
  • When the hand attacks the background or the characters in “POKOPOKOPIKOTAN”, sometimes gross sounds are heard, especially when it uses a scalpel.
  • Noroi-chan's Internal Organs from "Pokopokoshopping". Several gross sounds can be heard when it's presented, and it even slowly covers up the entire background near the end.
• Nightmare Retardant: The entire Behind the Scenes video for "my house walk-through" helps take some of the edge off the original video. Not only is it set to upbeat and happy song but it also shows how a lot of the special effects were made. For instance, a lot of the more visceral degradation effects were actually accomplished via layers of tissue paper sprayed with water.
• Older than You Think: "Username 666", one of the most famous 2008 videos and creepypastas, is a remake of "sm666: A cursed video in niconico", a December 28 2007 video Piropito has submitted to Slashup05 MovieBattle video fest.
• Spoiled by the Format: "Queen Ant A-Chan's Egg Diary 14" has an unusual black frame around the video, as well as fake loading icons, which helped viewers prepare for the inevitable jumpscares.
• Visual Effects of Awesome: "my house walk-through" was thought by some to be some kind of simulated environment, but it was actually done completely practically. The slow destruction of the house through each loop was accomplished through application of a sand and glue mixture combined with layers of wet tissue paper to show the house slowly getting more soaked and drenched, while the corpses were merely mannikins with those same effects applied.
