YMMV / Namco Museum

  • Awesome Music: 50th Anniversary, at least in America, features licensed music from the likes of Loverboy, The Romantics, and Dexys Midnight Runners.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • In Vol. 3 the exhibit featuring the Tower Of Druaga game has the titular tower, lightning flashing all over the place, and Druaga himself, just slightly smaller than Godzilla, is hovering overhead with its four arms each holding weapons at the ready! You'd be excused if you want to play the game from the title screen rather than from the exhibit.
    • Some of the exhibits in Vol. 4 have eerie and off-putting atmosphere. Most noticeably, the exhibits for Assault, The Return Of Ishtar, and Genpei Tōma Den.
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!:
    • After the PlayStation titles were released, practically every other collections had dropped the "Museum" part of the game and became your typical run of the mill Compilation Re-release game.
    • The versions of Pac-Man Arrangement and Dig-Dug Arrangement found in the 2001 collection have the music slightly pitched a semitone up and, in the case of the latter, somewhat broken music. Thankfully Namco fixed the former for Pac-Man Museum+, and Galaga Arrangement and Xevious Arrangementnote  didn't have the same music issues.
