• Designated Hero: Jake is portrayed more sympathetically than Faust from My Lovely Daughter, and he summons demons to convert into resources in comparison to Faust betraying his own "children". However, they're both ultimately betraying sentient people with the capacity to love them back, and are fully aware of their own actions which can make it difficult for some players to sympathize with their goals and help accomplish them.
