* MemeticMutation: The scene near the beginning where the boutique shakes and all the mannequins fall over has become [[https://derpibooru.org/tags/toppling+canterlot+carousel%27s+mannequins something of a meme on derpibooru]], with various things such as the Kool-Aid Man and [[Film/AustinPowers Fat Bastard]] being inserted in place of Rainbow Dash.

* TheWoobie: Rainbow Dash. She is framed by Wind Rider for making Spitfire "disappear", and it almost costs her lifelong dream. Not to mention all the Wonderbolts and even the guards think she did it, and she's so crushed she eventually willing to believe that she ''did'' make Spitfire disappear. The look of utter hopelessness on her face when she seemingly gives up is heart-wrenching. Thankfully, Rarity is there to help her. Even worse, the pony who framed her was one of her idols and, given his status as a veteran member of the team, more than likely may have even been one of Rainbow's inspirations in the first place, only for him to throw her under a bus like it was nothing.

* AuthorsSavingThrow: After their characterization in [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS4E10RainbowFalls their last major appearance]] was ''torpedoed'' by most fans, the Wonderbolts regained their sense of honor and loyalty here by not only giving Rainbow a chance to prove her innocence, but also kicking Wind Rider out of their ranks -- despite him being a legendary veteran -- for framing her the way that he did. However, as the BrokenBase indicates, how well it works may depend on what you thought of them. In particular, Spitfire may benefit from this most, as she was probably the most controversial previously, she was not present to accuse Rainbow Dash, and she personally stripped Wind Rider of his position.

Tastes Like Diabetes is no longer a trope. Moving examples to other tropes when applicable.

* TastesLikeDiabetes: While Rarity and Dash's interactions are sweet throughout the episode, Rarity nose booping Dash with lotion probably gave more than a few fans cavities.
