• Anvilicious: Toward the end, Takagai spends a page discussing discrimination against same-sex couples in Japan, from how some hospitals won't allow same-sex couples to visit their partners to how landlords often refuse to rent to same-sex couples. The former is relevant considering that Shiina was recently injured in an accident, and the latter comes up in some of Miura's other work.
• It's Short, So It Sucks!: The series is only six chapters long and, at about 160 pages, is shorter than most tankobon volumes. As a result, the pacing sometimes comes off as rushed.
• Ron the Death Eater: Some readers had an incredibly negative knee-jerk reaction to Shiina pleading with Takagai for sex at the end of Chapter 4, to the point of calling her an attempted rapist, even though Shiina doesn't go any further than that, comes to her senses once Takagai calls her out and is overwhelmed with remorse.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Takagai's ex only appears in a single scene in Chapter 4, and mainly exists to confirm that she is, in fact, a lesbian. It might have been nice to learn more about their relationship, why it failed and why they're still on good terms.
