- Captain Obvious Reveal: It's pretty easy to tell early on in the film that something's off about Lee. Given the prowess with fighting and guns she shows in the climax, plus how she's able to shrug off an absolutely ridiculous amount of damage, the reveal that she's a synthetic human like Morgan isn't so much a twist as a "Called it!"
- Just Here for Godzilla: The film got middling reviews, but everyone loved Anya Taylor-Joy as the title character.
