• Awesome Moment: The wrestling match pitting Colin "Bomber" Harris against Colin "Bomber" Harris. A spectacular display of physical comedy from Graham Chapman as he painfully wrestles himself to a standstill.
• Genius Bonus: Most of the references to philosophy during the football match only make sense if you know of the philosopher's work in a certain amount of detail.
• The Woobie:
  • Terry Jones gets tripped, knocked over and covered in pies repeatedly during the History of the Joke sketch, and he doesn't look very happy about it.
  • The I've Got Two Legs singer (Terry Gilliam) also qualifies, since he gets shot, and killed, for no reason other than interrupting another sketch to sing.
