- Awesome Music: The opening theme. If anyone knows only one thing about the cartoon, it's this theme.
- Best Known for the Fanservice: One of the reasons this series has remained in the nostalgic memories is mostly for the sexualized anthropomorphic characters.
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Renart's so-80s-it-hurts fantasy sequence music video in the first episode. Renart is shown dancing with a cat showgirl, there is a furry Grace Jones spitting a car (a nod to a TV ad she did), random corgis, a Robot Girl followed by two smaller robots pouring champagne, a woman subjected to the Marilyn Maneuver, a threatening gorilla kidnapping Renart who has to be rescued by a Tarzan-girl who takes him to a Statue of Liberty on rockets...
- Unintentional Period Piece: This cartoon is from the 80s and it shows! Not just from the technology levels and aesthetics, but also the parodies of public figures (TV host Yves Mourousi, model Grace Jones and the President is based on François Mitterrand) and a certain kind of humor that would be both too innocent or offensive for modern viewers.
- What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: The series contain a lot of satire of modern society, sexualized characters and imagery... and it's still marketed as kids media.
