YMMV / Miraculous Ladybug S04E24 "Penalteam"

• Fanfic Fuel: Chloé and Lila make an alliance against Marinette (and maybe also Ladybug). What cunning schemes will these two come up with? Will it just remain an alliance of convenience or can it become a real friendship?
• Tainted by the Preview: When trailers for the episode were released featuring four new heroes, most of the fandom were disappointed for various reasons. For starters, there wasn't any significant or meaningful buildup for having the kids become heroes apart from being in Marinette and Adrien's class. Additionally, there were criticisms about some of the new heroes. (Sabrina, an Extreme Doormat who happily indulges in Chloé's abuse, is given the Dog Miraculous. And while the Ambiguously Jewish Nathaniel obtaining the Goat Miraculous isn't so bad, the main issue stem from his costume having large horns which contributes to stereotypes used against the Jewish community.)
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: We get introduced to four new Miraculous heroes in this episode, with the drawback that we don’t get any individual focus on any of them (we don’t even get to see their transformation sequences), much to the annoyance of fans.
