• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:
  • Since Chloé, Sabrina and Lila stay in the classroom, they do not end up inside Guiltrip and we never learn anything about their regrets.
  • After the reveal that the Monkey Miraculous was basically one giant reference to Sun Wukong/the Monkey King from Journey to the West, a number of fans hoped that the Pig Miraculous would reference his traveling companion Zhu Bajie/Pigsy in some way, most popularly through its unknown weapon being a rake. Needless to say, these fans ended up disappointed when it turned out to not be the case.
• What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: Cat Noir attempts suicide by almost using Cataclysm on himself as a result of the titular Sentimonster's influence, which is extremely dark for a show aimed at elementary schoolers, especially when you consider what Cataclysm does to whatever it hits.
