• Ensemble Dark Horse: This is the only episode King Sphinx is ever in. He never really has Jason on the ropes and he never comes back as a "best monster of the past" in a later episode. Yet he was still absolutely everywhere in the series' merchandising (to the point you wouldn't be blamed for thinking he was one of the main villains), has action figures by both Bandai and Hasbro, and to this day he remains one of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers ' most iconic monsters, on the level of Eye Guy and Pudgy Pig.
