YMMV / Mickey Mouse and the Sword of Ice

• Continuity Snarl: The 2023 sequel stories contradict the earlier ones by stating that the Sword of Ice was lost 1,000 years after the end of the original quadrilogy, due to a meteor strike creating a bottomless pit that swallowed it... despite the very second chapter establishing that the sword was lost due to an earthquake well before that.
• Oddly Named Sequel: The titular Sword does *not* appear in any of the pre-2023 sequels (see Continuity Snarl, above).
• One-Scene Wonder: What do most readers remember from the fourth chapter? The titular "Sleeping Beauty in the Stars". She has an original design (that subverts Green-Skinned Space Babe), is cute, has a cool costume and powers and proves to be quite badass when facing the mask of the Prince of Fogs. A shame she has never been seen again.
• Only the Author Can Save Them Now: Literally. Goofy actually confronts the author, Breaking the Fourth Wall, because he is annoyed by the impossible obstacle of an underground fiery lava river.
• Sequelitis: The fourth chapter is not as well regarded as the original trilogy.
