- Alternative Character Interpretation: When Ayume tells Itarou that nothing good will come from him having feelings for her and that she won't visit him at the bar anymore, is she trying to save him from her own murderous tendencies? Or was she just toying with him the whole time?
- Awesome Music: The Happy End theme by DOVA-SYNDROME is simply beautiful.
- Esoteric Happy Ending:
- All of the so-called "Happy Ends" end with either Itarou, his chosen girl, or both dead. We're not sure how this constitutes "happy".
- Delving a bit into Alternative Character Interpretation but it would make sense that the Happy Ends are happy for the Girls and not necessarily for Itarou himself. Which really goes to show just how bad some of their mental states are. Almost Orange And Blue Morality even...
- The Scrappy:
- Ayume, for being the most unlikable of the girls. While at least the others had a Freudian Excuse for some of their most questionable actions, Ayume just kills For the Evulz.
- Revised in the Remake, where it is revealed Ayume killed Itarou because she thinks he found the evidence linking her to the murder of her ex-boyfriend.
- Spiritual Successor: To Charon's previous game, Mix Ore, due to the Gamebook elements.
