* TheyCopiedItSoItSucks: ''Make Me A Millionaire'' was almost a carbon copy of the Florida Lottery's ''Flamingo Fortune'', specifically the second format which was used from 1997-99 and produced by Creator/{{GSN}} - Lucky Penny was essentially a watered-down Flamingo Diceway, Safe Cracker was pretty much the same as Break the Piggy Bank, and California Cool was basically the same as Florida's Famous. The major difference is that while ''Flamingo'' had its contestants chosen on-air, ''MMAM'' didn't.

Gary Dawson (son of Richard Dawson) produced both this ''Flamingo'' and ''MMAM''.''MMAM'', but whereas the former had its third game slot alternate between Florida's Famous and Crack the Code (a game never used by ''MMAM''), the latter used the same games in the same order throughout its 18-month run.
