• Values Dissonance: The Pandavas come off as elitist classist casteist snobs by insulting Karna as a mere charioteer’s son. And they are supposed to be the good guys.
• Values Resonance: Duryodhan treats Karna with great respect, in spite of him being a charioteer’s son. Time and again he calls out the Pandavas and Kripacharya for determining Kshatriya status on the basis of parentage alone, instead of courage and skill. And he is supposed to be the Big Bad.
