- Better on DVD: If the claymation censoring freaked you out, be thankful that it's not present on the DVD releases
- Cargo Ship: Trincia (the local supercomputer AI) and... a Rocket. As in, a space ship. A completely normal space ship. Even for this series, this subplot came out of nowhere.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Sakuma. Maybe it's his absurdity, maybe it's the fact that he has a beautiful Meido voiced by Ayako Kawasumi, maybe it's his MANLINESS, but he is popular for someone outside the main cast (i.e. the harem).
- Les Yay: Suzuho, with both Falce and Miyabi.
- Moe: A guiding force of the universe, which is studied in depth by the school.
- Nightmare Fuel:
- Episode 10, the "neutral", screaming, fleshy fetus-like god beings Takuto created after he believed that Tanarot, Falce, and Suzuho were all dead.
- A quick, blink and you'll miss it one at the start of Episode 11. The episode title byline is inverted and black with a red outline. This is because this episode starts in the Alternate Universe.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: The Reveal of the Evangelist is accompanied by (not) Queen's theme to Flash Gordon.
