Go To

  • Broken Base: Daisuki.net's subtitling is very divisive. Some people don't like the heavy liberties taken with translating the dialogue, while others don't mind it so much.
  • Dueling Works: With New Game!, both being Manga Time Kirara series about game development, written by veterans in that industry, and have anime adaptations is adjacent seasons.
  • Fan Nickname:
    • Usually based on the character's position in the SNS Club, thus:
      • Tamaki: Illustrator
      • Shiina: Programmer
      • Ayame: Scenario Writer
      • Kayo: Composer
      • While Yumine isn't a member of the Club, she's universally given the name of Fujo.
    • Additionally Shiina has a few more:
  • Heartwarming Moments:
    • Tamaki is feeling down at the doujinshi event for a multitude of reasons, like staying at the table while Ayame tries to drum up sales and believing that her art isn't as good as the other people's art there. However, a patron stops by the table and asks Tamaki to draw a sketch for her. Her mood improves considerably after the patron says she'll cherish the sketch.
    • The second half of Episode 7 is basically about how did Tamaki cured Yumine's Friendless Background-induced cynicism by making up Tabletop Games of her own, since Game of Life isn't really for just two people.
  • Les Yay:
    • Kayo is very nice towards Tamaki, and frequently comes close to her. In fact, there's a segment where Tamaki interprets Kayo's remarks of the two making a baby the wrong way.
    • Yumine has an obsessive devotion to Tamaki, and imagines her in steamy situations often, with Tamaki as the dominant one.
  • Moe: The series is steeped heavily in a cutesy style.
  • One-Scene Wonder: Shiina's mom only appears briefly in Episode 10, but quickly becomes endearing thanks to her enthusiasm and open-mindedness.
