- Signature Song: The biggest hit on the album, "Private Investigations". The Title Track and "Telegraph Road" are also well known; the former has become pretty popular since the live version from Alchemy was a minor hit, while the latter has arguably become Dire Straits' quintessential album track (on par with "Down to the Waterline") and a staple of Epic Rocking thanks to its 14-minute runtime. "Telegraph Road" is also the only track on the album which survived in Knopfler's solo live set.
