- Funny Moments: Just the sheer amount of death animations can qualify for this. One of which involving having your entire torso blown off, with your legs still running for a moment before flopping to the ground! Yeah, it's that kind of game. Some of the taunts as well — Helga knows fully well she's trolling people with some of them, while others have these otherwise scary individuals with the goofiest, happiest grins on their faces as they dance around. Even the vanilla death animations can be amusing; getting shot to death by bog-standard ballistics has your character flop lifelessly onto their back...before their arm shoots up momentarily to flip off their killer before dropping back down.
- Moment of Awesome: Helga's mere existence, if you consider that some developers (and fans) are only interested in women who are thin, conventionally attractive, and/or exist only to be a Love Interest. Helga is a Gonk, heavy-set, and exists on her own terms. And she can gun toe-to-toe with the rest of them.
- Nightmare Fuel: Burning to death. It's cartoony, yes, but watching your character futilely try to roll around and extinguish his blackened skin is a little disturbing.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: There's this track
that almost sounds like Tainted Love by Marilyn Manson.
