• Anticlimax Boss:
  • Kanako is easily the least difficult boss in the game, even on Hard. You get an invincibility powerup at the start of the battle, and you can have enough left of an earlier Shot powerup to last the whole battle, making it possible to defeat her before the invincibility runs out. Even when she comes back in the boss rush and you get none of the powerups, she is slow and projects her attacks so it's pretty easy to avoid them all by dashing and jumping, especially if you know the timing of her jumps.
  • Mifuyu isn't hard at all either, despite her position as the final midboss of the game.
