  • Breakup Breakout: Craig would travel to NYC after the band broke up to focus on two new projects—one a collaboration with DJ Mr. Projectile called The Brokerdealer, and after that, The Hold Steady along with Tad (now on lead guitar). Steve and Dan would both continue to work on their own art, with Dan continuing his work as a photographer and Steve working on his own project, The Hawaii Show.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Formerly the case. Soft Rock intended to avert this, creating one set of all pre-Fiestas content, but became just as rare as the rest of the band's material, and didn't actually include any pre-Lifter Puller singles. Was common behavior of the fans with regards to ripped versions of the vinyl singles in the internet age, often being shared on fansites. The digital re-release of the band's discography fixed this problem completely. Well, except for...
  • Missing Episode: A cassette with the track "Bitchy Christmas" was released in December 1998 and sold at shows, with only about 30-50 copies being pressed. To this day, nobody has shared a copy and no fan has any idea what the damned thing sounds like. No lyrics have ever been released, either—not even in Lifter Puller Vs the End Of. It might as well not even exist, but is still listed on their archived site and has been described as practically gone by members of the band itself. When asked about it by a fan during his Living Room Tour 2017, Craig told the story: the band was asked to record a Christmas song as a B-side for a cover of "Feliz Navidad" by band The Freedom Fighters. Short on time (and not feeling like it was worth all the trouble), Craig went to a local record store, bought a single of "Crush on You" by The Jets, wrote alternate lyrics, and the band simply played along to the record and recorded it. Craig said, "I'm not the proudest of that recording, so I don't think it'll ever be ready for the world." Still, with a title like that, it sounds like a hell of a Christmas song.
