YMMV / Lies of the Sheriff Evans: Dead or Love

• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Chapter 101 sees a woman doubting that Evans really could be the famous Evans because he doesn't look as impressive enough. So he tells the pretty-normal-looking pre-teen Ted to punch him as hard as he can, which sends him into a rocky hill that dents it while he does his best to stoically after being Punched Across the Room. Then he proves to the woman that he's as strong as a bear by running off and taming a bear off-screen, which is a feat without precedence even to the impossibly-good gunslinger that is Evans. The most these odd displays are questioned is the woman thinking the bear-taming was a rather overly dangerous response to her doubts, and Ted being surprised at the sight of him riding on the bear.
• Ho Yay: Chapter 159 has a girl, Kristen Moffat, who was a friend and neighbor of Evans ask him for marksmanship lessons. This being Evans, he spends the chapter doing this whilst struggling greatly anytime the instruction forces him to touch her. He ends up getting Oakley to train her instead at the end of the chapter, but Oakley touching Moffat unfortunately causes Moffat to react just like Evans did to her.
