• Fridge Horror: In Down a Dark Path, Emily falls backwards from a cliff into a river and briefly dies. If you know science you'd know Emily didn't drown. Due to surface pressure the water surface would feel like concrete. Emily Jones, the teenage main character smashed her skull.
• Heartwarming Moments: When Emily and her friends rescue Sophie in Sophie’s Point of View, she (Sophie) can be heard saying “I knew you’d come for me!”. She never did lose faith in her big sister.
  • In Season 4, Naida stands up for Emily against Cory (an elemental guardian no less!) and states that she considers Emly a sister.
• Ho Yay: When they meet, Farran looks at Cronan with the same starry-eyed expression as the girls.
• Spiritual Adaptation: For those of you that wanted a Labyrinth LEGO set, the sets for the goblin storyline contains heavy similarities.
