  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff:
    • While she's iconic in her native Italy, she's also very popular in Spain and Latin America, especially thanks to her Spanish translation of the songs.
    • This doesn't apply only to the Spanish-speaking countries. She's so big in Brazil that most of the comments under her Italian songs on Youtube are in Portuguese.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: One of Laura's songs from 1994 is titled "Non C'è" ("There Isn't"). Three years later, Italian songwriter Nek released the hit song "Laura Non C'è" ("Laura Isn't Here"), which is completely unrelated to Laura Pausini, although both songs are about missing a loved person who is far away.
  • Tear Jerker: Many of her famous songs are about how much Love Hurts.
