- Moral Event Horizon: In Self-Destruction, Gabriel/Hawk Moth is heavily implied (and later confirmed) to realize that his son was Chat Noir, as he notices that the ring he always wore was missing. How does he respond? By giving him a replacement, stating coldly that Adrien needs to maintain a consistent image, and using that ring as a vessel through which to akumatize him into Catastrophe.
