• Ho Yay (that is, a healthy dose of Les Yay)
• Moe: Tokino and Koyuki, especially in the TV series.
• Quirky Work: While the series starts out as an intentional Cliché Storm of anime tropes, it eventually takes a weirder turn, such as having the Absurdly Powerful Student Council battle supernatural forces and ninjas.
