• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Much like "Escape From Party Island", the episode wants us to sympathize with Tilly's wild streak because she wants to live her own life and not be "boring." This is after she breaks up with her longtime boyfriend to marry a man she barely knows, sells her condo to buy an RV she doesn't know how to drive and that makes Gary miserable, steals it after an argument with Hank and Gary, doesn't tell the latter or anybody else where she's going, and wrecks Hank and Kahn's lawns in the process. On top of all of this, because Hank and Gary were forced to look for her, they both ended up stranded in a ravine during a flash flood. And when Hank tries to tell her to take it easy, she rebukes him because she wants to live life on her own terms. That's not also mentioning all of Tilly's other mistakes, such as spending a year spying for the Chinese, sending all of her gold to somebody on TV, or not helping Hank when he was little, despite him begging for help. The episode says that Hank is acting paranoid by "testing" his mother, but Tilly herself spends it inconveniencing him and his family with her crazy antics.
