- Falcondance: Nicias' dive into Ecl, and the fight with him and the Royal falcons toward the end of the book.
- Wolfcry: Oliza punching and threatening Velyo.
- Wyrvynhail: Hai curing Salem by literally giving up half her soul, and Hai's complete Mind Screw prophecy of Velyo's future.
Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: In Hawksong, when Danica comforts Zane when he breaks down after the death of his mother.
More Popular Spin Off: The series has gained more popularity and sales than the Den Of Shadows series. Hawksong in particular.
