- Awesome Music:
- The ending theme, "Musuhi no Toki," sung by Nagi's voice actress, Haruka Tomatsu. Creating Soundtrack Dissonance with the show's overall tone, it's a sweet, soft-spoken lullaby-like tune composed in very archaic Japanese that brings the show's religious elements to the fore.
- The opening theme, "Motto Hade Ni Ne!" is no slouch.
- Memetic Mutation:
- Nagi's karaoke sequence has been edited with characters from other series singing in her place, particularly with characters from Touhou Project.
- One of Nagi's hilarious facial expressions◊ became popular for a while.
- Overshadowed by Controversy: The series is better known for the horrendous over-reactions Otakus had to Nagi (a fictional character) having had a boyfriend at least once. Leading to very vile Slut-Shaming online and the author's health declining even worse.
- Tear Jerker: Has its own page.
- What Do You Mean, It's Not Symbolic?: One episode may be a very roundabout reference to Amaterasu hiding herself in a cave in indignation.
