• Adorkable: Beneath her overly serious demeanor, Misa can be downright silly. This is best exemplified when she gets very serious about touring Rin through Asakusa and then challenging Jennifer to a Jet Race over a keychain shaped like a yellow dolphin both wanted.
• It's Easy, So It Sucks!: A common complaint of the gameplay is that even without upgrades and half-decent racing skills, you will easily breeze past all your opponents for all but the last two missions of the campaign and thus rarely have to use any of the weapons. The fact that the top speed of the jets were reduced (probably to compensate for shooting mechanics) made some players feel it should have reduced focus on the shooters entirely for better high-speed racing experience.
• Narm Charm: Besides the gratuitous and physics-defying breast bounce, the series has such an absurd explanation for Clothing Damage, it's just a wink and a nod away from becoming a parody of the concept. However, the entire appeal of the series is that it's a silly Ecchi dedicated in providing Fanservice with no pretense of being anything else.
• No Problem with Licensed Games: While it won't win any rewards, the game is fun. It has great graphics, great music, and fun gameplay.
