• Harsher in Hindsight: This miniseries becomes this when most of the plot gets translated to Kamen Rider Outsiders:
  • Brain's titular special was a result of his fleeting thought to become a Kamen Rider, which gets realized in the form of a dream? He gets to be one for real, only for those villains to be a direct copy of Mu, if not worse.
  • Brain mocking the members of Mu for being "leftovers" that gathered only to get their butts kicked by the appearing Riders? The "leftovers" (the titular Outsiders) are pretty much humanity's final hope against Zein.
  • Crystal Peppler mentioning that reviving Brain to defect from Mu was because he was the weakest of the villains? Brain is pretty much hopeless in trying to prevent Zein's rise to power, let alone defending Ark-Zero himself.
  • And lastly, the last scene in Brain's dream is him facing the leader of Mu, only for the latter to shine bright and declaring Brain will be his tool to subjugate free will? Zein pretty much did that to Yuto at the end of Outsiders' season 1.
