Trope is when the fans demonize the character, not the work itself.

* RonTheDeathEater: It may have been an attempt to make him closer to his book counterpart, but the idea that the kindly John Hammond made his company InGen drive an indigenous tribe off their ancestral home to build his theme park seems like a major OutOfCharacterMoment.

The idea that the film version of John would drive a group of people away from their home just to build his dinosaur theme park, instead of building it in an uninhabited area, seems like a very OOC moment.

I'm unsure if the Herrerasaurus attack counts, as they are mentioned in the in-Game journal after you encounter them

* BigLippedAlligatorMoment: The rollercoaster ride and the Herrerasaurus attack. It's sole purpose is to delay the heroes until the rescue team arrive. The coaster is only given the briefest explanation, and nobody refers to it again. Moreover, the Herrerasaurus pack literally come out of nowhere, get whacked, and then never appear again. It's easy to mistake them for members of the Velociraptor species if you're not paying attention.

** The "Fight To The Death" action sequence is easily the most difficult to get a gold rank on. With numerous QTEs appearing often immediately after one another and having less than a second to hit them in time, this is the part that will almost certainly cause a few restarts if you're aiming to get all the gold medals.

AST is now trivia and requires WOG / WOSP confirming the changes

* AuthorsSavingThrow: Dr. Wu adding the frog DNA is used for the explanation as to why the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar don't always match up with the fossil record.
** Dr. Sorkin putting a cure for the Lysine contingency into the water supply explains how the dinosaurs on Nublar were able to survive after the island was abandoned despite the film establishing that they depended on Lysine supplements.

The game is officially non-canon to the films, where Dodgson is officially a CM.

...They're main characters. The trope is to be used for minor characters who got disproportionately popular.

* EnsembleDarkhorse: Oscar has proven to be possibly the most popular character in the game. The fact that he knife-fights a Raptor and wins probably helps.
** Gerry also has his fans, due to being a BadassBookworm who provides some of the best and most enthralling action scenes in the game. Him being voiced by Creator/JonCurry also helps a lot.
