YMMV / Jungle de Ikou!

  • Audience-Alienating Premise: An underage girl turning into an extremely busty goddess and utilizing her assets to solve problems whilst being leered at by others? Not a concept most people, even those who enjoy fanservice-centric anime, are going to latch on to.
  • Best Known for the Fanservice: There are but three things the show is known for: Mii and her boobs. Go search the show's name on Youtube. Most of the videos you'll hit are either fanservice compilations or AMV fanservice compilations. There are scenes other than the one where Mii grows to the size of a skyscraper and beats a demon with her bust, but it is the one that most remember for how ridiculous and shameless it is.
  • Retroactive Recognition: Natsumi/Mii was Eri Sendai's debut role, 10 years later she would meet her most famous role, Milk/Milky Rose from Yes! Pretty Cure 5 (and all subsequent appearances throughout the Pretty Cure franchise).
  • So Bad, It's Good: Yes, it's shamelessly laden with fanservice. Yes, the fact that the main character is an underage grade-schooler that transforms into an extraordinarily busty flower spirit is ridiculous, as is the fact that an old man gave her those powers. Yes, these factors are also pretty squicky when you get down to it. But the concept is so goofy and executed in a way that demonstrates that it doesn't take itself seriously at all that it's hard not to laugh and enjoy just how ridiculous it all is.
  • Squick: Natsumi's dance, to trigger her transformation sequence, is disturbingly sexual considering her age. Ditto for Nami's dance, what with the innuendo surrounding the water and all.
