• Awesome Music: "Meltdown", most notably when it clicks over to the synthesized vocals about two minutes in.
• Difficulty Spike: In some levels, it depends on if you're trying to rescue all the robots, but there's definitely a point where it gets harder in general. A borderline case of Schizophrenic Difficulty.
• Funny Moments: The last page of the storybook, unlocked after rescuing all fifty babies.
• Heartwarming Moments: The last page of the storybook, unlocked after rescuing all fifty babies.
• Fridge Horror: when Jed takes damage, one of the babies following him disappears.
• Fridge Logic: In Challenge, which is most certainly a Lethal Lava Land, there are Slippy-Slidey Ice World platforms, with very visible ice on top. Some of them are barely above the lava's surface, even.
• Nintendo Hard: The Slippy-Slidey Ice World segments. Dear God, the Slippy-Slidey Ice World segments.
• Surprise Difficulty: Jed is one-third cute graphics, one-third fun music, and one-third hellish challenges.
