  • Fan Nickname: As the monster in Hide and Seek doesn't have an official name, one guide names it "Edward" for simplicity's sake. It seems to have caught on somewhat, possibly due to the unlikelihood of an eldritch creature having such a normal name.
  • Most Wonderful Sound:
    • The humming of a nearby blue orb gets more and more wonderful as fewer and fewer are left in the maps. A fact that Legs even takes advantage of towards the end of Classic Mode.
    • The vaults in Living Halls make a distinct alarm noise when time is about to run out, notifying you that safety is nearby.
  • That One Achievement: "Deaf" requires you to beat The Phantom with the in-game volume set to zero. This means that not only can you not see the titular monster, you can't hear it either. Being able to listen to it knocking over furniture in nearby rooms is almost required to stay quiet in time for its approach, so expect it to catch you by surprise a lot. On top of that, not being able to hear also makes it more difficult to find blue orbs without the radar and your devices while in a chase.
  • That One Level: Out of all levels in the game, bonus stages included, none are as frustrating as Shudder Mode. It is a more difficult version of Shutter Mode, meaning you are able to stun Legs with your camera. Like the other bonus levels, you are free to run with no penalty. You also only need to collect 20 orbs in a fairly small map, compared to the 40+ of the other two bonus levels. The problem? Legs is absolutely relentless. Its inhuman speed and the maze's tight corners make fighting it off very difficult. Even worse, it goes into a rage very quickly, at which point it runs at speeds so fast that survival is practically impossible.
