• Esoteric Happy Ending: During the later part of the car, Goh and Chloe end up getting to talk (long story), and the boy eventually promises her that he's going to start go back to school until she returns, something that Chloe appreciates and thanks him for. All's well that ends well... except that the story has made no secret that Vermillion City School is probably one of the worst schools to go to, as even without all the bullying happening there, which would easily make Goh a target instead of Chloe, it's populated by teachers who don't care enough to do their jobs right and are outright worthless in stopping the bullying problem. Not only that, everybody in the school practically hates Goh, as revealed by Hannah and Daiki in the previous chapter, and painfully clear to them how he caused Chloe to get onto the Train, with the caveat that they also don't know about the details regarding what actually happened. In other words, what seems like Goh making a promise to cheer up Chloe seems more like Goh willingly entering a lion's den where he will be abused and mistreated in her place until she eventually returns, at the bare minimum, months later.
