• Awesome Music: The whole album, really. Kylie really put her heart and soul into it.
• Broken Base: Split the fanbase in half at the time of its release. Even today, there's some fans that think the album is a full blown masterpiece, others that think it's just okay, and even more still that think the album takes itself too seriously.
• Follow the Leader: The album was one of the first albums by a major pop artist to explore electronic music. Many artists followed suit to the point where Madonna herself did the same thing. Many fans feel sour that it wasn't until only recently that Minogue has been given credit for her influence.
• Growing the Beard: Many consider this to be the turning point in Kylie's discography where she started taking herself more seriously as an artist.
• Vindicated by History: Misunderstood at the time of its release, many fans and critics now see it as her finest effort.
