• Paranoia Fuel: The story ends with the Narrator telling the Reader to ask themselves, “…Am I really ‘Me’?” The implication is that the Readers themselves might be Entities that have replaced the originals and they don’t even realize it. Also, as They Look Just Like Everyone Else!, any of the Readers’ friends and loved ones might have been replaced as well and are now trapped in an And I Must Scream situation.
