• Adaptation Displacement: More people know about this opera than Ancelot and Saintine's historical play, which the opera is loosely based on.
• Awesome Music: It's a bel canto opera, so it contains plenty of the long-flowing melodic lines that Vincenzo Bellini was most famous for, and depending on the singers themselves, the vocals can be as beautiful and amazing as well.
• Narm Charm: The plot may be seen as flimsy and convoluted. But everyone's here for the singing, so it really doesn't matter, honestly.
