However, given that Carly genuinely deserved an A and only got a B (thereby ruining a straight-A streak she'd spend the whole semester working towards) because it was printed on a type of paper that the teacher personally didn't like (which would be grounds for the teacher being fired in real life), it's hard to argue that it wasn't justified in this case. Although Carly could have tried taking her case up with the school.
