• Unexpected Character:
  • Over at Mugen Fighters Guild, Babidi was someone who was fairly not expected to make the roster, partially due to being involved in a joke claiming that Majin Vegeta had been canceled. Aside from being a Hate Sink, a Big Bad Wannabe, and an Anti-Climax Boss, he's often forgotten about for being an incompetent Dirty Coward with none of the charm that Love to Hate villains such as Frieza and Cell have. His small size also factored into his unlikeliness of becoming playable.
  • While Vegeta's Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Blue forms were expected, few foresaw that he would also receive a playable Majin form.
  • Pilaf, Mai and Shu likewise were unexpected via the Pilaf Machine (a Mythology Gag of the three's final fight with Goku in the orignal Dragon Ball series where they fought Goku with a Combining Mech). It surprisingly manages to work.
