- Harsher in Hindsight: "Time Flies" is about coming to terms with one's mortality and the legacy you leave behind. The next year after the album was released, former Weezer bassist Mikey Welsh would die of a drug overdose.
- So Okay, It's Average: The general consensus among the fandom is that the album is this. While fans consider it a marked improvement from the much maligned Raditude, it still doesn't live up the heights of their first two albums or even some of the albums that came afterwards, so many fans don't consider it a proper comeback. It is because of this that the album is often overlooked by even hardcore fans of the band.
