The play:
- Alternate Character Interpretation: How happy is Mark really going to be having kids with Michelle? Granted beforehand his not wanting to could have just been born out of fear but the fact that it was an unplanned pregnancy leaves it in doubt.
- Tear Jerker:
- The reveal that Phil is suffering from cancer puts a bittersweet tinge onto the last scene, no matter how much he seems to have adjusted to it.
- This line from Mark as he gives Phil the "Reason You Suck" Speech about their affair.
