- Hilarious in Hindsight: The statement of Dave and Karkat being "best friends" but not doing "gay stuff" together. At the time this fic was written, Dave and Karkat hated each other, but a few years later, they become best friends...and then become a couple. So not only are they canonically best friends, they probably are doing "gay stuff" together!
- Narm: Lots, particularly the constant use of the word "baba" in place of "baby" when describing demon children and aborted foetuses, and the use of apparently random polysyllabic words.
