• Complacent Gaming Syndrome: Nene is often the most popular choice for solo players, as her healing abilities are invaluable for dealing with the significant difficulty increase from playing alone. Additionally, her healing also works on the recruitable fans, greatly improving their longevity and giving you an army of minions to go to town on the mooks and plenty of meat shields against the bosses' attacks. This was especially invaluable before healing orbs were adjusted to be able to heal fans if the player had full health as the player had limited ways to heal them.
• Difficulty Spike:
  • The third stage has stronger enemies, not enough backup, and you can easily get swarmed by a group of mooks if your backup has been defeated.
  • The final level throws every single mook and Elite Mook in your way to defeat La+, and some have more health than others. Oh, and they can absolutely demolish your backup even after you just defeat them.
• Game-Breaker:
  • The BL Book is among the strongest weapons in the game, summoning a spinning ring of books that constantly deal damage to all enemies that come in contact with it, letting you clear out mobs very quickly and rack up KO chain bonuses. It also works very well against bosses for a strong damage supplement against them. BL Books are also quite cheap to buy from Nodoka and can be bought up to 20 (costing you at most a mere 3000 Holocoins if you buy the maximum amount), making it an excellent purchase whenever it's available.
  • La+ is generally considered one of the stronger characters in the game. Her basic attacks are projectiles that don't require ammo like Botan and Lui's do, with the every third shot being an extra large one that can pierce through enemies. Her abilities are also powerful, with the first letting her summon a field of dark flames that does decent damage and can apply Burn while the second is essentially a reusable BL Book. If a solo player isn't picking Nene for her healing abilities then they're likely taking La+ for how easily she can tear through mooks and bosses, especially if you're hoping to speedrun the game for the achievement. Unlike the BL Book however you do have to work a bit for La+, as she only unlocks if you clear Story at least once first.
• Goddamned Bats: The ice holoX minion near the last level. These guys can freeze you in place, and there can be more than one of these bastards while a Boss in Mook Clothing or a significantly tougher enemy gets a free hit on you.
• That One Boss: Lui is one of the toughest bosses in the game. She doesn't flinch when you attack her, and she will start spamming her teleports while using her machine gun at you. And her attacks hit really hard. Even someone like Lamy or a playable Lui will have a difficult time with her.
