  • Demonic Spiders:
    • Any enemy with a gun or ranged attack that doesn't involve firing a slow destructible enemy. These ranged attacks deal 2 HP of your 3 max health, guaranteeing death in 2 hits unless you have over 4 HP. Special mention goes to the fat, Body Horror zombies with spectral spears, as unlike any other ranged enemy, their attack passes through terrain.
    • The enemy gunners with corrupted guns in the very final area of the game. Not only do their bullets deal 2 damage, they fire 3 projectiles that bounce off terrain in an odd manner which can catch you if you're not careful.
    • The tentacle plants near the end of the game. Their main attack is simple, they shoot their tentacle into the ground and it pops up under you with a noticeable tell, dealing 1 damage. The trouble is that they're almost always encountered in a row, allowing more than one to attack you right after the other, forcing you to move a lot and into other enemies/attacks, and making it very hard to shoot them (which requires you to stand still to aim and reload). They also can take quite a good bit of damage, enough to survive a single shot from your basic gun at full health.
  • Goddamned Bats: The flying skull enemies home in on you. While they take one hit from your sword to die, they often approach from an odd angle, the Moon King's head that harasses you throughout all the levels will spawn two them if you hit it, and a number of several bosses can spawn these in to harass you.
