** The same goes for the Nihilanth due Nihilanth. You have to destroy three crystals and unload a ton of ammo into his head before you can even start to properly hurt him. All the while, you have to contend with an unending amount of Alien Controllers and Vortigaunts backing it up, along with the barrage of purple orbs that will absolutely ''melt'' your health. But the worst part is the green orbs, which warp you to another room full of enemies, forcing you to deal with all of them before you can get back to the repetitive nature battle. One of these rooms even contains a ''[[MiniBoss Gargantua]]''! Even after all of that, you've still got to attack the Nihilanth's brain to kill it, which you can only do when it decides to expose it while continuing to attack you. And you can't even reach it without being thrown into the air by a bounce pad. Time it wrong? Kiss your ass goodbye, as you'll be left a sitting duck at the apex of the fight.jump.
