Not enough context (ZCE), Trope was cut/disambiguated due to cleanup

* HarsherInHindsight: The BonusBoss fight against is this because of what's below.

Not ymmv

* GiantSpaceFleaOutOfNowhere: The . They're large, bug-like creatures that have machine guns on their abdomens, and they only appear in , as well as the place that comes right after that.

Actual trope, not YMMV, moving to main page.

* GuideDangIt: The way to get the GoldenEnding is both very counter-intuitive and never hinted at in the game. Whether you get the good or bad ending depends on an interaction with a nondescript Elsen during The Courtroom's glitchy part who asks the vague question of whether or not you consider yourself guilty. Answering yes will give you the good ending where Hugo survives and recreates the world while answering no will give you the bad ending where Hugo dies. There is nothing hinting at the facts that this decision has any meaningful impact or that "yes" is the preferable answer. Even after receiving the bad ending, there is nothing hinting at the way to earn the good one. What's worse is that, considering the seeming mundanity of this encounter, players are likely to save over their file after it, rendering the good ending PermanentlyMissableContent.

* Narm: Defeating the FinalBoss gives you 666 EXP, which can come across as silly for being FauxSymbolism and because it's a very small amount for the lategame.

* SuspiciouslySimilarSong: You'll find many songs similar to ones Felix and friends enjoyed from the works that inspired OFF. In particular, you can find near the end of the game (Chapter 3 of the courtroom) a slowed-down re-rendition of "Witchcraft", by Akira Yamaoka.

* SequelDifficultySpike: You can now adjust the difficulty for puzzles and combat. On normal difficulty and above, the battles (especially the bosses) require more strategy and quick thinking to progress.
