• Narm Charm: The game's awkwardly translated dialogue (written in ALL CAPS) and 8-bit graphics adds to its appeal. Any attempt to remake and "improve" it would probably ruin it completely.
• Values Resonance: This 1992 role-playing game is one of the earliest video games to feature Gay Option. At the end of the game, Sam (a male hero) is offered a Standard Hero Reward for his trouble where he can propose to one of the five princesses, but with repeated interaction he can choose the others, some of which are male. While it's a short scene and there's a comedic edge to it — you can marry either the queen or the king, which naturally gets them divorced — the marriage is not considered anything strange regardless of whether Sam's partner is male or female. Many years later, as such features and topic have become more common with games like Fallout 2, Great Greed is regarded as a game ahead of its time for highlighting same sex marriage in a video game.
