* EvilIsSexy:
** The Venus may count for this, the human parts of her are quite sexy. Too bad the rest of her body kind of ruins it.
** The same can be said of any of the other Aragami that take on some semblance of a humanoid female. Arda Nova, for example, would look completely human (and extremely sexy) were it not for the unusual skin coloration (magenta).

* DemonicSpiders: A lone Kongou is harmless by itself, and is one of the easier medium-sized Aragami to take down. However, harder missions will involve more and more flock of Kongous, and sometimes even 3 or 4 Kongous all at once. While normal Kongou may be tolerable due to its low resistance, the same cannot be said to the Fallen and Fierce variants, who are hard to hit and hit even harder. That's not to mention Rakshasa Kongou, an even stronger version introduced in Rage Burst, and there's a mission where you have to fight 4 of them at once.

* AnnoyingVideoGameHelper: The operators can be this to some players due to the endless warning dialogues during a mission. Low on health? Warning! Broken bonds? Warning! Aragami enraged? Warning! Allies incapacitated? Warning! Burst mode running out? Warning! And considering how often these will happen in just a single mission, expect to hear this a lot. Having some notification lines on the screen already doesn't help eitherSeveral notifications such as bond-breaks, enrage, incapacitation, and Burst Transfer will be displayed on the screen. Thankfully, you can remove the operator comms in mission selection menu, with options to remove them entirely or partially depending on the situations.

For God Eater, Demonic Spiders should be reserved to small and medium Aragamis. Since the list consists of large size Aragamis, they'll be moved to That One Boss instead, even taking into account that players may face more than one of these at once.

* DemonicSpiders:
** Borg Camlanns. These guys have a lot of armor, hit hard, have next to no windup for attacks, are insanely fast, and their elemental weakness barely adds much damage.
** Blitz Hannibals. Take a Corrosive Hannibal, bleach its scales, and put the sucker on fast forward. If you thought the Hannibals were bad before, wait 'til you fight one that's twice as fast. Even worse, even its projectiles travel twice as fast.
** The new version of Dyaus Pita in Resurrection. While less armored than the previous version of Dyaus Pita (now named "Heavenly Father"), it overcompensates with the new, more dangerous forms where it transforms its manes into blades after being damaged enough. A very definite example of LightningBruiser, the new form attacks fast and wide, capable of wiping your health in matter of seconds, especially if you haven't learned about its movements yet. And worse, this new version returns to VideoGame/GodEater3 with all its glory.
** The Arius Nova. It's the ungodly amalgamation of a Dyaus Pita, a Sariel, and an Arda Nova, with all the damaging moves and durability that all implies. Its wide-sweeping wing attacks are liable to put you in critical condition, if you're lucky. If not, kiss your ass goodbye.

* BrokenBase: The fanbase has been split in two groups:
** The fans are not pleased that Yu was replaced by Lenka in the anime adaptation, the reasons why he's disliked is because he is a generic shonen lead, with generic AnimeHair, hotblooded, and too serious and angsty. Meanwhile, Yu is caring, polite, intelligent, cheerful without being annoying and a total badass, as shown in light novel/manga adaptations.
** While the other fans disliked Yu because in the actual game, he is a generic lead and lacks both backstory and personality. This applies especially to people who never read the manga/light novels. Meanwhile, Lenka have some unique/special traits and has a backstory.

* FanNickname: "Budget Eater" due to the high production values ufotable is putting into it, as well as the infamous episode delays detailed below. Alternately, there's also "Limited Budget Works," considering this anime started airing only weeks after ufotable's Anime/FateStayNightUnlimitedBladeWorks which itself had the nickname of "Unlimited Budget Works" due to the incredible production values put into it, the joke being that UBW ate all of ufotable's budget and God Eater has to make do with the scraps left behind.
